Visualize Data with Live Layers
Live Earth provides a way for users to quickly and easily see data layers to turn them on or off, and to change preferences per layer, or globally. To access all layers, users can navigate to the Live Layers panel and then use the “Eye” icon to turn on a layer, which makes it visible in the platform.
Users can decide to change layers independently of one another, or access the global preferences to change an attribute for all of the layers. For example, a user can click on preferences for the “Bus” data feed and change the icon size. This impacts only buses on the screen. The Live Layers panel allows users to customize their visual preferences, which empowers them to focus their attention on the details that matter most to them.
