Meet Our Chief Executive Officer

Kevin Trottier

Kevin brings over 20 years of technology product development, sales, and marketing to Live Earth.  He is focused on solving customer needs through Live Earth’s unique capabilities and on building a growth-driven culture at the company.

Kevin’s career includes executive roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Verizon.  He is also an experienced entrepreneur as the CEO and Co-Founder of a successfully acquired, technology-enabled service business.  Kevin has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta.

His hobbies include playing tennis tournaments with his wife and skiing with his sons Mark, Jett and Truett.

Director of Sales

Position Information

The Director of Sales will lead a team of sales professionals in pursuing new customer acquisition and growing the existing customer base.

Location

  • Live Earth is headquartered in Austin, TX but this position can be remote within the US.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and directing the hiring and training of new sales executives.
  • Directing and coordinating all sales activities with a process-driven approach.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members against a sales process.
  • Ability to get “hands-on” to support sales executives with accounts as needed.
  • Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics.
  • Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed.
  • Develop individual quotas and assign territories for team members.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts.
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment.
  • Assess individual performance through observation, measurement, and suggest corrective actions as needed.
  • Leading RFP responses/developing reusable content and proposal processes
  • Customer management, maintaining a relationship with current customers
  • Works closely with marketing dept. to effectively position our product in the marketplace

Qualifications 

  • 3 years + selling enterprise business intelligence (BI) software
  • 1 year + experience with financial institutions, telecom, insurance verticals
  • 1 year + sales management
  • Track record of consistent results
  • Possess a track record of career stability
  • Working within a VC/PE funded highly dynamic organization
  • Ability and maturity to sell to and build relationships with C-Level executives

Full Stack Web Developer

Position Information

As a Full Stack Web Developer at Live Earth, you’ll have the opportunity to drive our web app from UI/UX to backend cloud deployment. You’ll work with a small, remote, talented team to ship software fast and often as we learn from customers and the market together.

Qualifications

Some Experience:

  • Writing High Performance Node.js Apps
  • REST-based Microservice Architectures
  • Cloud Applications (preferably AWS)
  • Architecting, Documenting, Developing Features Independently
  • Functional Programming
  • Remote Team Communication Skills
  • Customer Support Communication Skills
  • UI/UX Design

Minimum 2+ Years Each:

  • React
  • Node
  • TypeScript
  • MongoDB (preferably in a replicated and sharded environment)
